Couples Counseling & Marriage Therapy

Gain Clarity and Deepen Connection

Evolve and Grow

Through deeper understanding of your self and your partner, your connection can be enhanced. Many factors influence connection including feelings, beliefs, behaviors, words, tone and body language, as well as the energy of what's left unsaid. Becoming more conscious partners involves being vulnerable and sharing deeper-level internal experiences -- the feelings, beliefs and thoughts often beneath initial responses and reactions.  The work often isn't easy, but with willingness, empathy and effort from both of you your relationship can evolve with greater closeness, connection and intimacy as you become more aware and conscious partners. At times the work is about ending a relationship and finding meaningful ways to heal and move forward.

I can support you to improve connection, communication and intimacy, manage conflicts and disagreements, and cope with challenging life events and transitions.

In addition to my holistic approach to therapy my work with couples is informed by Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
